Ayurveda and pregnancy yoga course
Yoga and Ayurveda are sister sciences that have been connected for thousands of years. They can provide you with the tools for your pregnancy and beyond that will help you lead a healthy and natural lifestyle through the daily routine, diet herbs, and physical postures and breathing techniques.
Ayurveda (meaning 'the science of life') believes that a child's health and happiness is shaped by their parent's activities, diet, lifestyle and mental states both in and out of the womb. Yoga can help you carve out some much needed sacred space for yourself as building the strength and stamina needed for pregnancy and labour.
Throughout the 6 week course we will practice yoga that's safe for all stages of pregnancy, breathing techniques (pranayama), meditation, chants, discuss healthy Ayurveda recipes that will help you towards your pregnancy, lifestyle routine (dinacharya), self pregnancy massage (abhyanga) as well as leaving time for sharing circles and rest.
